Hot Wheels and Formula 1 have joined forces, bringing us the much-anticipated mini F1 cars. The first model is already available, though it doesn't represent a specific team, giving a glimpse of what's to come. This tiny F1 car features three sets of interchangeable Real Rider wheels, all fitted with Pirelli-branded tires, mirroring the real-world counterparts. The car boasts a white body and a black interior, adorned with a special Hot Wheels livery and the number 68 on the nose, commemorating the year Mattel launched the brand. Mattel will present the car on an illustrated blister card inspired by the original 16 Hot Wheels cars. Additionally, the F1 car will be packaged in a Kar Keepers clamshell case. Priced at $25, the first car is available for pre-order, with Mattel limiting purchases to two per customer. The website indicates that the car will ship on or before June 27, 2025, marking the beginning of a series of race cars from the collaboration. Expect a full lineup of Hot Wheels F1 cars representing various teams, along with other racing-related products due to the new partnership. Next year, we'll see more 1:64-scale cars.
