Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has received an invitation from Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban to visit his country, as confirmed by Netanyahu's office on Saturday.
Orban announced on Friday that he had extended the invitation to Netanyahu, despite several other European nations indicating that the Israeli leader would be detained if he were to set foot on their soil. This follows the issuance of an International Criminal Court arrest warrant for Netanyahu in connection with Israel's war in Gaza.
