The Indian Business and Professional Council (IBPC) Dubai is delighted to share the successful culmination of the IBPC Retail Conclave 2024, which took place on October 11 at the Taj Dubai, Business Bay. This event united prominent figures from the retail industry to explore the dynamic business environment and exchange crucial insights about the flourishing retail scene in the UAE.

The conclave was honored by the presence of chief guest Yatin Patel, deputy consul-general of India, who underscored the pivotal role of the retail sector in fostering business expansion across the UAE. Furthermore, Maha Al Gargawi from Dubai Chambers and Mansoor Al Malik from Dubai Customs provided essential insights into the anticipated growth of Dubai’s retail industry.

The event included stimulating panel discussions featuring leading industry experts such as Nandakumar V from Lulu Group International, Shuja Jashanmal from Jashanmal Department Store, Karthika Unni VP from Titan Company Limited, and Ashish Panjabi from Jacky’s Business Solutions. These professionals examined the current obstacles in the sector and proposed innovative solutions to address them.

Emphasizing the rising prominence of luxury retail, Dr (CA) Sahitya K Chaturvedi presented a thought-provoking talk on the sector’s growing importance in the UAE’s economic framework. The event also received support from The Electronics Group (TEG) Dubai, highlighting the value of collaborative initiatives in shaping the future of retail.
