The Ice Warrior Challenge, organized by Dubai Sports Council & Majid Al-Futtaim, will commence on Sunday, September. The event is set to unfold at the Ski Dubai Hall in the Mall of the Emirates at 6am.

This iteration of the Ice Obstacle Challenge sees a significant surge in participant numbers, including male and female individuals and teams of diverse ages and nationalities. Among them are Emirati contestants with varying physical abilities and skill levels.

Participants in the Ice Warrior Challenge will compete in three categories: the Elite category, reserved for men and women who can complete the Challenge in under 25 minutes; the Individual category, open to all physical levels; and the Teams category, which involves groups of five.

Contestants must navigate 20 to 22 obstacles over a 3.5 km course, which includes climbing, rolling, and running on snow at a chilling minus four degrees. The snowy indoor hall at Ski Dubai will transform into a racing track filled with various obstacles such as wall climbing, sloping, creeping over nets, under vehicles, through narrow tubes, rolling and running on snow, navigating a maze, dangling with ropes in the air, jumping over barriers and wheels, climbing poles while running, swimming in cold water, and more.

The Challenge will begin at 6.30am with participants starting in groups. Each contestant must affix their racing number to the front of their shirt, attach a timing chip to their foot, and be prepared for the contest 15 minutes before the designated start time. All finishers will receive distinctive medals and a commemorative Ice Challenge shirt.
