This strategic move aims to expand access to accounting and finance knowledge, specifically targeting professionals looking to enhance their careers by obtaining this certification. The certification encompasses five key content areas: general accounting and financial management, financial statement preparation and analysis, planning and budgeting, cost management and performance metrics, and professional ethics. It is intended for early career professionals in business (ranging from juniors to managers), university students, and non-accounting & finance professionals.

Registration for the Arabic version of the FMAA is currently open, with the first testing window set for September 2024. The exam includes 80 multiple-choice questions and is administered at a testing center, lasting two hours.
