In a significant move to bolster relations between India and the UAE, the National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO), in collaboration with the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, organized the 'India-UAE: Shaping Sustainable Futures: Innovation and Investment in Real Estate' conference at Hilton, Yas Island Abu Dhabi. The event attracted over 350 attendees, including 35 government representatives from India, industry experts, and dignitaries from the UAE, marking a crucial step in enhancing cooperation between the two nations.
The conference, part of NAREDCO’s Abu Dhabi & Dubai Study Tour, focused on innovative solutions and investment strategies for sustainable urban development. It highlighted the strategic importance of the India-UAE partnership, which has matured into a model of economic and cultural collaboration. Eng. Mohamed Ebrahim Al Mansoori, director general of Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme; Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure UAE, & Minister's Advisor for Engineering Affairs, emphasized the UAE’s dedication to sustainability and urban innovation.
Kuldip Narayan, IAS, Joint Secretary & Mission Director (Housing for All), Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, discussed the ambitious scale of India’s housing mission. G Hari Babu, president of NAREDCO, underscored the significance of the India-UAE relationship, describing it as the cornerstone of the event. Dr Niranjan Hiranandani, chairman of NAREDCO, highlighted the substantial contributions of the real estate industry to India's economy.
