Indian actor and politician Govinda was accidentally shot in the leg and admitted to the nearest hospital, according to Mumbai police.
His manager, Shashi Sinha, informed ANI: "Govinda was preparing to depart for Kolkata and was returning his licensed revolver to the cupboard when it slipped from his grasp, causing the gun to discharge and strike him in the leg. The bullet was subsequently removed by a doctor." A Mumbai police official has confirmed that his injury is not serious.
