The victorious Indian cricket team, fresh from their T20 World Cup triumph in Barbados, arrived in Delhi on Thursday morning. Enthusiastic fans, brandishing congratulatory placards and waving the national flag, thronged the Indira Gandhi International Airport to greet the champions.

Piyush Arora, a dedicated supporter, shared his joy, stating, "We arrived at T3 because we're extremely thrilled. We reached the airport at 3am." Viren, a young admirer of the Men's Indian Cricket Team, expressed his excitement for seeing his idol Jasprit Bumrah and the team, "I've been here since 5:30am."

The team is scheduled to depart for Mumbai later in the evening. They will participate in a celebratory open bus road show and a felicitation ceremony at the Wankhede Stadium. Earlier, captain Rohit Sharma extended a heartfelt invitation to Indian fans for the victory parade at Marine Drive and the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, to commemorate the Men in Blue's ICC T20 World Cup victory.

The Men in Blue clinched their second ICC Men's T20 World Cup by defeating South Africa by seven runs in the final. Following tradition, the team led by Rohit will embark on an open-top bus ride from 5:00 pm onwards at Marine Drive and the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
