The Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi has announced that the Indian passport service portal will be temporarily unavailable for five days due to technical maintenance.
The Passport Seva Portal, which is the online service platform, will be suspended from 6:30 PM on Thursday until 4:30 AM on Monday. During this period, no passport or related services, including emergency 'Tatkal' passports and police clearance certificates, will be provided at the Embassy or any of the BLS International centers.
For those who have appointments scheduled for Friday and Saturday, these will be rescheduled to fall between September 2 and 8. If the new appointment date is inconvenient, applicants can visit any BLS center after the revised date to submit their passport application without needing a separate appointment.
Meanwhile, other consular and visa services will continue to operate normally at all BLS International centers throughout the UAE.
