In a statement provided to Khaleej Times, a representative from Al Ghurair Centre acknowledged the incident and stated their cooperation with the ongoing investigation. "We confirm that an incident occurred at Al Ghurair Centre on July 11, 2024, causing minor injuries to a customer," the statement read. "We are actively cooperating with the authorities as they conduct their investigation. At Al Ghurair, ensuring the well-being, privacy, and safety of our customers is our utmost priority."
Khaleej Times attempted to contact Dubai Police for comment but did not receive a response by the time this article was published. The Indian Consulate, when approached for comment, stated that they were unaware of the incident.
