The Indiana Jones movies may have concluded, but Indiana Jones and the Great Circle promises to deliver ample content to satisfy the franchise's fans. According to MachineGames, the forthcoming title will feature nearly four hours of cutscenes, a duration that nearly matches the combined runtime of two Indiana Jones films.

MachineGames' creative director, Axel Torvenius, recently appeared on the MinnMax YouTube channel, where he disclosed that The Great Circle contains "a lot" of cutscenes, totaling approximately three hours and 45 minutes. He emphasized that this is "the biggest and longest game that MachineGames has ever produced."

Torvenius also mentioned that the narrative of The Great Circle remains largely faithful to the outline presented by Bethesda director Todd Howard to George Lucas in 2009, just three years before Disney acquired Lucasfilm. Furthermore, he noted that the game will not include instant fails during stealth missions, a feature that was recently addressed in another Lucasfilm-based game, Star Wars Outlaws, through a patch.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is set to release on Xbox Series X|S and PC on December 9. PlayStation 5 users will need to wait until Spring 2025 to experience the game. However, fans of all platforms can currently enjoy an Indiana Jones-themed menu at IHOP's International Bank of Pancakes restaurants nationwide.
