One of the year's most highly anticipated games, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, is set to grant early access tonight at 4 PM PT / 7 PM ET to those who purchased the Premium or Collector's Edition. However, some players have already managed to get their hands on an earlier release. Leaked gameplay footage first surfaced on YouTube on Thursday, showcasing the game’s initial three hours. Despite being taken down by ZeniMax, the video posted by YouTuber Lone Viking revealed several plot points. Lone Viking claimed to have bought the game from a local store, paying $80-$100 to secure it three days before the official release on December 8.
Official review embargoes are scheduled to lift later today at 4 PM PT / 7 PM ET, coinciding with the early access launch. From what we know so far, Indy has parted ways with his on-and-off companion, Marion Ravenwood, and is now on a quest to uncover a grand conspiracy. This journey will take him through the Vatican, the Sukhothai temples in Thailand, the Egyptian pyramids, Shanghai, and the icy Himalayas.
Game Pass users have the option to upgrade to the Premium Edition for $35 (or $100 for those purchasing the full game without Game Pass) to gain early access and receive bonuses such as a Temple of Doom outfit and a future story DLC, the Order of the Giants. PlayStation owners, however, will need to wait until Spring 2025 to join the adventure as the game is not slated for release on their platform until then. Check out the official release times here for all platforms.
