Prabowo Subianto, the Indonesian president-elect and Defence Minister, has bestowed the 'Dharma Yudha Defence Medal' upon Major General Saleh Mohammed Saleh Al Ameri, the Commander of Joint Operations at the UAE Ministry of Defence, in acknowledgment of his role in fortifying military collaboration between the two nations. This medal stands as one of Indonesia's most prestigious military accolades, granted to both Indonesian and international military personnel who have significantly contributed to the advancement of defence strategies and military partnerships with allied countries.
The medal was formally presented to Major General Al Ameri by Lieutenant General Donny Ermawan Taufanto, the Secretary-General of the Indonesian Ministry of Defence, during a ceremony at the Ministry's headquarters in Jakarta. The occasion was graced by high-ranking officers from both the Indonesian and UAE military.
