Just a few weeks remain before the highly anticipated launch of Infinity Nikki. The open-world fashion game is scheduled to debut on December 5 across PC, PS5, iOS, and Android platforms. Players will have the opportunity to outfit Nikki in various ensembles, each granting her unique abilities as she embarks on her journey. This adventure is being masterminded by Kentaro Tominaga, a renowned game designer known for his work on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Infinity Nikki marks the console debut for the titular character, who originally gained fame in the mobile game Love Nikki: Dress Up Queen. Accompanying Nikki on her new open-world escapade is her adorable companion, Momo. The release date trailer, available below, hints at Momo potentially being a playable character in certain scenarios within Infinity Nikki. The trailer exudes a laid-back atmosphere, showcasing Nikki swiftly changing costumes, engaging in bike riding that transitions into ET-inspired flight, and even catching bugs reminiscent of Animal Crossing. One of Nikki's outfits features a magical flower that allows her to glide gracefully with the wind.

Tominaga boasts an impressive 20-year tenure at Nintendo, where he contributed as a game designer on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and directed the game's expansion pass. His portfolio also includes work on titles such as Mario Kart Wii and The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. With its imminent release, Infinity Nikki is already generating significant buzz. As of August, the game had surpassed 12 million pre-registrations, and the official Infinity Nikki account on X has confirmed that all pre-registration milestones have been achieved, suggesting the game now boasts over 30 million pre-registrations.
