Turkish yard Alia Yachts has unveiled the 45-metre superyacht SAN, offering a glimpse inside following her debut at the Monaco Yacht Show. The design brief prioritized a low-profile appearance while maintaining the essence of a superyacht, with Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design taking charge of both the exterior and interior design. The raised pilothouse configuration maximizes space, and the wheelhouse has been streamlined to minimize volume.
Inside, the main saloon features floor-to-ceiling windows providing uninterrupted views. The 2.3-metre ceiling in the main saloon is particularly generous given the yacht's length. The warm, minimalist interiors are adorned with premium materials such as stained oak, eucalyptus, and tan leather. The lower deck includes four en suite guest cabins, including a forward master suite with large windows. The bathrooms are fitted with golden beige Luget limestone, chosen by the owner.
The main deck includes folding bulwarks that expand the beach club area, while the aft deck offers shaded seating and sunpads. The foredeck features a sunpad with adaptable seating, and beneath it lies a hidden tender garage. SAN's multi-functional deck furniture caters to various uses, from casual lounging to formal dining.
Technically, SAN is powered by four Volvo Penta engines, allowing for a top speed of 23 knots and a cruising speed of 18 knots. Lateral Naval Architects handled the naval architecture. This news follows the announcement of Alia Yachts selling a 43-metre, full-custom project currently under construction in Antalya, Turkey. Designed by Vripack, the 'world cruiser' is intended for extensive voyages by a family.
