Apple's forthcoming iPhone 16 Pro Max is set to revolutionize the smartphone industry with a series of notable enhancements that could distinguish it from rival devices. Recent leaks suggest that the iPhone 16 Pro Max might not only boast a larger screen but also a significant expansion in accessible display area, attributed to substantially reduced bezels. Prominent leaker Ice Universe has disseminated what seems to be a CAD drawing of the iPhone 16 Pro Max, annotated to show bezels as narrow as 1.15mm around the screen. This represents a considerable decrease from the 1.71mm bezels on the iPhone 15 Pro Max, resulting in bezels that are roughly 30 percent thinner. The iPhone 16 Pro is also anticipated to feature similarly slender bezels, measuring 1.2mm.

As reported by Tom's Guide, these exceptionally thin bezels could serve as a primary differentiator for Apple's premium iPhone 16 lineup compared to other high-end smartphones. For instance, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, with its 1.5mm bezels, currently surpasses the iPhone 15 Pro Max in display-to-body ratio. However, if the leaked specifications are accurate, the iPhone 16 Pro Max will surpass this metric. In addition to the bezel reduction, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are rumored to incorporate larger screens, at 6.3 inches and 6.9 inches respectively. Other expected upgrades include a new Capture button, a more robust chipset with enhanced AI capabilities, and a larger battery.

The tech behemoth is expected to launch the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max at its upcoming event next month. The event is also anticipated to introduce the AirPods 4 and Apple Watch 10, offering a comprehensive array of new products for Apple aficionados.
