The helicopter crash that resulted in the death of Iran's former President Ebrahim Raisi in May was attributed to adverse weather conditions and the aircraft's inability to manage the weight it was carrying, according to a report by Iran's semi-official news agency on Wednesday. The report cited a security source who had access to the final investigation findings. Raisi's helicopter, a Bell 212, crashed into a foggy mountainside in northern Iran while en route to the city of Tabriz. This occurred after the former President and his team had participated in the inauguration of a dam project near the border with Azerbaijan.
