The Iron Wolves have much to be grateful for as Destiny 2's Iron Banner event is set to return next week. This time around, the event will introduce a new armor set and a rocket sidearm to the loot pool. According to Bungie's 'This Week In Destiny' announcements, the new armor set is called 'Iron Intent,' featuring pieces that are 'worthy of Weyloran, Nirwen, and Orewig.' These names are familiar to players as they belong to the great Iron Lords, who have had weapons and ornaments named after them over the years.

The Iron Banner will kick off on November 26, with Control as the match type for the first week. The armor set boasts a Norse-inspired aesthetic, with the Titan helmet resembling a hammer and the Warlock mask featuring studded horns. All three pieces are adorned with intricate braiding along the plates. While Destiny has seen similar ornaments before, such as the Valhund set, the Iron Intent set offers a unique presentation.

In addition to the Iron Intent set, the announcement hinted at the introduction of the first-ever Stasis rocket sidearm. It was also revealed that players could obtain the weapon with the Loose Change perk and Chill Clip perks. With Iron Banner events now spanning two weeks, there's ample time to get the perfect roll on this new weapon. The existing rocket sidearms in the game have proven to be highly effective, and the current Artifact offers numerous Stasis weapon-centric perks, making this new sidearm highly desirable.

The previous Iron Banner event introduced new versions of fan favorites, including the Claws of the Wolf pulse rifle and Crimil's Dagger hand cannon. This will be the final time the banner is raised and Lord Saladin's sigil is lit during this episode. So, if you missed out on previous opportunities, now is the perfect time to make your enemies hear the howls and know fear.
