Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz announced on Sunday that he has instructed his ministry to initiate legal actions against French President Emmanuel Macron following Paris' decision to exclude Israeli firms from an upcoming military naval trade show. This move is the latest development in a series of incidents stemming from the Macron government's concerns over Israel's actions in the conflicts in Gaza and Lebanon.

Euronaval, the organizer of the event scheduled for November 4 to November 7 in Paris, stated last week that the French government had informed them that Israeli delegations were prohibited from setting up exhibition stands or displaying equipment, although they could still attend the trade show. This decision impacted seven Israeli firms.

In a statement on social platform X, Katz said, "I have directed the Foreign Ministry to take legal and diplomatic action against French President... for his decision to prevent Israeli companies from showcasing their products at the @SalonEuronaval exhibition in Paris next month." He further added, "The boycott of Israeli companies for the second time, or the imposition of unacceptable conditions, are undemocratic measures that are not acceptable between friendly nations. I urge President Macron to cancel them entirely."
