The Israeli military has issued an evacuation order for the Baalbek area in eastern Lebanon, cautioning that it is preparing to target Hezbollah facilities in both Baalbek and the nearby town of Douris. "You are currently situated near the assets and installations linked to Hezbollah, which the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) will be targeting in the near future," stated Avichay Adraee, the Israeli military's Arabic-language spokesperson, in a message posted on X directed at residents of Baalbek and Douris. On Friday, the city's suburbs experienced three explosions accompanied by plumes of smoke, following the Israeli army's directive to evacuate several buildings in south Beirut. Meanwhile, US mediators are reportedly crafting a proposal to suspend hostilities between Israel and the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah, beginning with a 60-day truce, according to two sources. However, Israel continues to advance its offensive, now ordering the evacuation of residents in Lebanon's eastern city of Baalbek.
