The Israeli military announced on Thursday that its most recent attack on south Beirut resulted in the death of Mohammed Srur, the leader of Hezbollah's drone unit. This information aligns with a source close to the group who had previously indicated that Srur was the intended target.
"Based on precise intelligence provided by the Air Force and the Intelligence Division, fighter jets successfully targeted and eliminated (Srur), the commander of Hezbollah's air unit, in Beirut," stated a military press release.
