The Israeli military announced on Saturday that it had eliminated two operatives from the armed branch of Hamas, who were active in Lebanon.
The military identified one of the deceased as Muhammad Hussein Ali al-Mahmoud, who they claimed held the position of executive authority for the group in Lebanon. The second individual, identified as Said Alaa Naif Ali, was described as a member of Hamas’ Military Wing in Lebanon. Both were reportedly killed in an Israeli air strike and an overnight operation, respectively.
In response, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, acknowledged the loss of two of its fighters due to Israeli air strikes in Lebanon. However, they provided different names for the deceased: Mohammed Hussein Al-Louise and Saeed Attallah Ali.
