Actress Jacqueline Fernandez is currently working on a new single titled Stormrider. The track has been produced in collaboration with the LA-based record label Myst Music. Fernandez recently shared a teaser of the song on Instagram, captioning the post, "This is just the beginning #Stormrider." In a statement, she revealed, "Growing up in a household where music was a constant presence, especially with my dad being a part-time DJ, I was exposed to a wide array of sounds from a very young age. Our home was always filled with vinyl records, CDs, and music from various genres and cultures. This diverse musical environment ignited my passion for music and performance."
Reflecting on the significance of music in her life, the actress stated, "For me, music is all about storytelling and emotional connection, which is why I decided to venture into music. I wanted to create something that deeply resonates with listeners, much like the music I grew up with did for me. Music has always been my means of expression, and now I have the opportunity to share my voice and story with the world."
The music video for Stormrider is scheduled for release on September 20. On the acting side, Fernandez will be seen alongside actor Sonu Sood in their upcoming film, Fateh. This project marks Sood's directorial debut and will explore real-life instances of cybercrime. Additionally, Fernandez will lead the series GOATS.
