To kiss the girl, you must meet the criteria. Jenn Tran, who played Ariel on Tuesday’s Disney Night on “Dancing With the Stars,” shared what she seeks in her real-life Prince Eric. “I’m searching for someone who’s compassionate,” the reality star exclusively told The Post. “Someone who listens to me. Somebody who knows how to lift my spirits when I’m down. Somebody who genuinely cares about me.”
“I believe empathy is the most crucial aspect in a relationship, to be able to step into someone else’s shoes,” she continued. “And so, being able to support them in the manner they need. That’s truly what I’m looking for.”
Despite not finding her happily ever after with Joey Graziadei after their stint on “The Bachelor” in 2024, the two reunited for a team dance segment, dancing to “I 2 I” from “A Goofy Movie.” Regarding dancing with Graziadei, Tran admitted, “Honestly, it was incredibly fun to dance with Joey.”
“It’s surreal to think that a year ago we were on ‘The Bachelor’ together and now we’ve pursued our separate paths,” Tran added. “But we remain great friends, cheering for each other at every opportunity and celebrating each other’s achievements. That alone brings me immense joy.”
Throughout Season 33, there has been unwavering support among Bachelor Nation members. Graziadei spoke about Tran’s casting at the start of the season, telling Us Weekly, “I’m thrilled. Bachelor Nation is strong, right?” The 28-year-old added, “They always participate in ‘Dancing With the Stars,’ so it’s an exciting chance, and we’re just going to enjoy it.”
Tran made history by being the first “Bachelorette” lead to propose to her season’s winner, Devin Strader, instead of the traditional final pick proposing. However, the engagement was short-lived. During the “After the Final Rose” special, Tran was in tears as producers made her relive the proposal and then discuss the breakup with host Jesse Palmer and the audience.
“He essentially said he no longer loved me and didn’t feel the same, sensing something was off since he proposed. He regretted getting engaged,” Tran revealed. Strader was then brought onstage, and the former couple discussed their issues on live TV.
