Jennifer Aniston hosted Friendsgiving on Monday, sharing glimpses of the pre-Thanksgiving gathering on her Instagram story. The 55-year-old 'Friends' alum posted a photo featuring a series of blurry, mostly black-and-white Polaroid snaps of herself, 'Friends' co-star Courteney Cox, 60, and other guests enjoying the occasion.
"A few scenes from Friendsgiving," Aniston captioned her Instagram story, accompanied by a heart emoji. Among the attendees, many speculated that Aniston's close friend Sandra Bullock, 60, was also present in the grainy pictures. One fan commented on X, "Knowing Sandra Bullock and Jen Aniston spent Friendsgiving together just made me a whole lot happier." Bullock has previously celebrated Friendsgiving with Aniston, joining her in 2019 for a star-studded event.
That year's Friendsgiving was a celebrity-packed affair, with guests including Cox, Jason Bateman, Jimmy Kimmel, Will Arnett, and Aniston's ex-husband Justin Theroux. Theroux, 53, shared a selfie of the group on Instagram, hashtagging it "#fakesgiving" and writing, "Very VERY thankful for these friends and these nights."
Another highlight of the 2019 celebration was "Jimmy's F—ing Enchiladas," specially made for Kimmel, 57, after he previously complained about the similarity of Aniston's Friendsgiving dishes to traditional Thanksgiving fare. "My problem with [Friendsgiving] … is on Thanksgiving I cook a lot of stuff — the normal turkey, yams or sweet potatoes, the whole deal — but at your event we had all of those things," Kimmel told Aniston on his late-night show in December 2018.
Aniston, ever the gracious host, fulfilled Kimmel's request the following year. "Ok, @jimmykimmel… here are your f*%king Friendsgiving enchiladas," she captioned an Instagram post in 2019, featuring a photo of her pulling enchiladas out of the oven, labeled "Jimmy's F—ing Enchiladas," and a video of the cheesy treats' big reveal. "Finally, someone listened to me!" Kimmel said in the clip. The enchiladas received rave reviews, with Cox commenting on Instagram, "I will say Jen… I loved that f*%king enchilada." The menu for this year's celebration remains undisclosed, leaving fans curious if it included the classic shepherd's pie-English trifle combo synonymous with the season.
