Jennifer Lopez sidestepped direct mention of her estranged husband Ben Affleck when responding to his recent praise for her. Affleck, 52, described Lopez, 55, as "spectacular" in their new film "Unstoppable" during an interview with Entertainment Tonight. At the UK premiere of "Unstoppable" on Tuesday, an ET reporter relayed Affleck's compliment to Lopez, asking her to describe his producing skills.

Instead of focusing solely on Affleck, Lopez expressed admiration for the entire cast and crew. "I would describe all of the cast and everybody behind the scenes as spectacular and wonderful," she said. Affleck had similarly commended the "Unstoppable" team in his own ET interview, which took place days before the UK premiere, an event he did not attend.

"Unstoppable" is based on the true story of wrestler Anthony Robles, who, despite being born with one leg, won a national collegiate wrestling championship in 2011. Lopez portrays Robles' mother, with Jharrel Jerome, Bobby Cannavale, Don Cheadle, and Michael Peña rounding out the cast. Affleck and his best friend Matt Damon produced the film through their company, Artists Equity.

Director William Goldenberg commented on Affleck and Lopez's professional dynamic post-breakup at the Toronto International Film Festival in September, stating, "It's always been about the movie, and that's their personal business." Lopez filed for divorce on August 20, the anniversary of their second wedding ceremony, listing their separation date as April 26.

Before their split, Affleck had spoken fondly of collaborating with Lopez on "Unstoppable," describing it as "what fun, what a joy to do something with her." The former couple also co-produced and starred in the upcoming film "Kiss of the Spider Woman," an adaptation of a 1992 musical based on a 1976 novel. Lopez was in New York working on this film on the day of her official split from Affleck.

Following the divorce filing, reports emerged suggesting Lopez had done everything to make Affleck happy but struggled with his "dark" side. Insiders also attributed their split to Affleck's "erratic mood swings." "The world was rooting for them," one source said, "but who he said he was and who he turned out to be were two different people."
