Joe Rogan has revealed that he turned down a podcast interview with Vice President Kamala Harris due to the demands made by her campaign, but expressed hope that the interview could still take place. The highly popular podcaster mentioned that the Democratic presidential nominee's team requested him to travel to her location and limit their conversation to just one hour. "They proposed a date for Tuesday, but I would have had to travel to her and they only wanted to do an hour. I firmly believe the best approach is to conduct the interview in the studio in Austin," Rogan stated on X. He further added that the Harris campaign "has not ruled out doing the podcast." "My genuine desire is to engage in a pleasant conversation and get to know her as a person. I sincerely hope we can make it happen," Rogan concluded.
