Variety reports that Jung Kook from the K-pop band BTS is preparing to launch a new documentary called 'Jung Kook: I Am Still'. This film is described as a visual account of the artist's 'eight-month journey' leading up to his solo introduction, which is scheduled to be shown in cinemas worldwide on September 18.

The documentary is helmed by Junsoo Park, who has previously directed many films about BTS and its eight members, as well as other productions from Big Hit Music, the South Korean record label of BTS. 'Jung Kook: I Am Still' is set to debut on September 18, with special screenings planned in more than 120 countries and regions globally.

In a recent press statement, Big Hit characterizes the documentary as starting around the time Jung Kook released 'Seven', a track featuring American rapper Latto, leading up to his initial solo record, 'Golden'. The documentary includes previously unseen footage and interviews, along with dynamic live performances that explore the creative journey, relentless work ethic, and distinctive challenges faced by a worldwide superstar.

The film promises to give audiences a personal glimpse into the path behind his solo launch, highlighting the peak of Jung Kook's artistic talents and his rise to international pop stardom. The distribution of the film will be handled by Trafalgar Releasing, with CEO Marc Allenby expressing enthusiasm about continuing their robust collaboration with Hybe on this remarkable project. Allenby also mentioned, 'We're thrilled to bring Jung Kook's story to the big screen, showcasing the strength of shared experiences, and we look forward to fans uniting to enjoy this film with fellow ARMY,' as reported by Variety.
