I humbly request privacy as I process this immense loss.” She then turned her message to her “angel” directly.

“Liam, my angel. You were my everything. I want you to know that my love for you was absolute and unconditional. I will continue to love you for the rest of my life. I love you, Liam,” she emotionally penned. Cassidy concluded her heartfelt post with the number 444, a symbol believed to signify love and support.

Cassidy, who began dating Payne in 2022, was with the singer in Argentina just days before his fatal fall from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires on October 16. He was 31. Hours before his tragic end, Payne shared several videos on Snapchat.

In one of the now-deleted clips, the UK-born artist told fans he was having a “lovely day” while spending time with Cassidy. The couple was seen enjoying breakfast and discussing their plans for the day, which included polo and horseback riding.

In another video, Payne expressed how much he and Cassidy were “enjoying” their vacation. He also posted a video of them making funny faces, captioned, “Quality time 🥰.” Cassidy left Argentina two days before Payne’s death, implying the videos were not posted in real-time.

She documented her return to Florida on TikTok on October 14, expressing her joy to be home. At the time of Payne’s death, local police reported that his fall resulted in “extremely serious injuries.” First responders confirmed his death upon arrival. A spokesperson for the Buenos Aires municipality stated that Payne had “thrown himself from the balcony of his room.”

Following the news of Payne’s death, many fans and celebrities took to social media to express their condolences. Paris Hilton wrote, “So upsetting to hear the news of @LiamPayne passing😢 Sending love and condolences to his family & loved ones. 🙏 RIP my friend🥺.” Charlie Puth also mourned his friend, recalling their time together and expressing his shock and sadness.
