Kate Middleton is making a strong return to public life. The Princess of Wales, 42, has resumed her fitness routine after completing chemotherapy in September, as revealed by royal expert Robert Jobson. "From what I gather, Catherine is doing exceptionally well," Jobson shared with Hello! Magazine on Sunday. "She is back at the gym and engaging in all the activities she had been looking forward to," he added.
Middleton disclosed in March that she was undergoing treatment for an unspecified type of cancer, prompting her to step back from the public eye. She announced her cancer-free status in September but noted that her journey to full recovery would be lengthy. Jobson, author of "Catherine, the Princess of Wales," which was released this summer, told Hello! Magazine that he anticipates Middleton will soon return to her royal duties. "Rather than frequent nationwide travel, I believe she will focus on more significant events," he said, further stating, "If she has her way, she will return gradually and participate in activities that matter to her."
The mother of three is expected to join other members of the royal family at the Remembrance service at the Cenotaph in London on Sunday, Nov. 10. She is also scheduled to host her annual Christmas carol service in December. According to Jobson, Middleton now views her royal responsibilities with a different lens after her battle with cancer. "Her priorities will be her family, while still attending key events," Jobson explained. "I think William is eager for her to make a comeback, but that doesn't necessarily mean we'll see a rapid succession of engagements."
The Post has contacted Kensington Palace for further comment. Middleton largely remained out of the public eye during her cancer treatment. She made rare public appearances at the Trooping of the Colour ceremony in June and at the men's final at Wimbledon in July alongside her daughter, Princess Charlotte. She was later seen attending a morning service at Crathie Kirk church near the family's Balmoral Estate in August. On Sept. 9, Middleton announced her victory over cancer and expressed gratitude to those who supported her.
In October, Middleton made her first public appearance post-chemotherapy in Southport, England, to meet with the families of three girls who perished in a July knife attack at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class. Meanwhile, Prince William has taken on additional royal duties to support Middleton during her health focus. He has also had to manage his father, King Charles III, receiving his own cancer diagnosis earlier this year. The 75-year-old monarch, who is still undergoing treatment, has remained in good spirits during his recent royal engagements.
