Kelly Rizzo is reflecting on her late husband Bob Saget. The 45-year-old recently shared some candid insights about the similarities between the comedian, who passed away at 65 in 2022, and her new partner, Breckin Meyer, 50.

"They are so different, but where they share the same traits is that they are both absolutely hilarious but in very different ways," Rizzo exclusively told The Post during the Scleroderma Research Foundation’s “Cool Comedy • Hot Cuisine” event in LA on Tuesday.

Another trait the two share is their dedication as fathers. "Bob was such an incredible dad to his girls, and Breckin is just endlessly devoted to his girls," Rizzo gushed. "And they are just good, honest, wonderful, strong men."

The travel blogger added, "I’m very grateful to have had Bob in my life and now very grateful to have Breckin in my life."

Saget and Rizzo met in 2015 through mutual friends and announced their engagement in 2017. They married the following year. Rizzo believes that the “Full House” star would have approved of her relationship with the “Clueless” alum.

"They weren’t close friends but they were really friendly and liked and respected each other," she explained. "That’s why I felt good with it from the beginning."

In February, Rizzo confirmed that she and Meyer were an item and posed for pictures with him at a Grammys viewing party. At the time, she told E! News that it took “a while” for her to “get to the point where” she felt comfortable dating again. The pair went Instagram official three months later in May.

Saget died on January 9th in his hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando, Florida. His autopsy determined that his death was an accident caused by blunt head trauma.

"Life is very precious," Rizzo told the Post of what she’s learned from the tragedy. "We truly have no idea when it’s just going to be taken away from us instantaneously. Tell your loved ones that you love them. Hug them. Say it often. Say it as much as you can."

Giving insight into her grief journey, Rizzo shared: "I’ve learned in the past almost three years now — which is crazy — that everyone has their own story with grief."

"I had never experienced it before. I had never gone through anything like this or any type of really significant loss in my life and now I’m learning that when you go through it and you’re ‘in the club’ people want to share with you. People want to share their story and open up to you."

In honor of Saget, Rizzo is continuing his work with the Scleroderma Research Foundation, sharing what she thinks the fallen star would want the world to know about the autoimmune disease.

"It can effect really anybody but mainly does effect women in the prime of their lives," explained the actress, "and even though they’ve done so much work to further finding a cure and they have done so much work to have amazing treatments and therapies there is still so much work to be done and that’s why they work so tirelessly for research to find a cure."
