Khaleej Times, a Galadari-owned entity, has named Charles Yardley as its new Chief Executive Officer. Yardley officially joined Khaleej Times on September 2 and has relocated to Dubai to take on this role. Established in 1978 as the UAE's inaugural English-language daily newspaper, Khaleej Times has since transformed into a reputable and prominent multimedia platform. In his new capacity, Yardley will manage all operational aspects and strategic initiatives of Khaleej Times, as the company transitions from a traditional print newspaper to a digital-centric, multi-channel editorial brand.

Mohammed Galadari, Co-Chairman and Group CEO, expressed his enthusiasm, stating: "We are thrilled to welcome Charles to Khaleej Times as we further solidify our standing as the premier media organization in the UAE and beyond. Charles boasts an outstanding track record and substantial expertise in fostering growth and innovation for international media brands, along with a proven history of cultivating strong client relationships with marketers to facilitate successful collaborations."

Charles Yardley commented: "It is both an honor and a tremendous privilege to lead Khaleej Times. I eagerly anticipate getting acquainted with my new colleagues, growing the business, and exploring fresh avenues for the brand, while also supporting Khaleej Times’s journalistic endeavors."

Yardley most recently held the CEO position at London’s Evening Standard. His career has included senior positions that have driven revenue growth at major global media brands, such as The Financial Times, Forbes Media LLC, and City AM.
