Khushi Kapoor's enthusiasm was evident as she made her runway debut for Gaurav Gupta's collection Arunodaya at the India Couture Week 2024 on Monday. Drawing on the guidance from her sister, actress Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi was determined to excel on the catwalk.

Khushi shared, “Janhvi advised me to stay composed, be mindful, and to listen to the music. She also offered me some brief tips and encouraged me to just be myself.” Janhvi had previously strutted the runway for Gaurav Gupta's collection Hiranyagarbha at last year's India Couture Week, setting a challenging precedent for her sibling.

Accompanying Khushi on the runway was her rumored beau, The Archies actor Vedang Raina. Khushi and Vedang had earlier made their joint debut as Betty Cooper and Reggie Mantle in Zoya Akhtar's Indian rendition of Archie Comics, which was released on Netflix. The movie also featured Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, Mihir Ahuja, Yuvraj Menda, and others.

At the event, Khushi shone in a sparkling silver lehenga matched with a beaded blouse that boasted flowing cape-like sleeves. Her high-waisted, fit-and-flare lehenga was embellished with geometric designs and swirling stones. She accessorized with a multi-layered choker necklace, voluminous waves, and neutral-toned makeup.

Vedang, mirroring Kapoor's style, donned a sherwani with a high neckline and long sleeves. His attire, featuring shimmering black beadwork, was complemented with black trousers and brogues, creating a compelling look. Arunodaya, meaning 'dawn' in Sanskrit, was the theme of the collection.

The India Couture Week 2024 is scheduled to continue until July 31.
