2024 has been a robust year for Kissflow in the Middle East. The low-code technology leader successfully onboarded several significant enterprise clients, reinforcing its position as a trusted partner in their digital transformation endeavors. “Our focus has been on assisting enterprises in adopting Low Code as a strategic technology stack to meet custom application needs and effectively manage backlog challenges,” stated Prasanna Rajendran, Vice President - EMEA, Kissflow. The company also invested in initiatives that strengthened relationships with stakeholders from the region’s IT sector. “Through exclusive roundtable discussions with CIOs and IT leaders, we enhanced awareness about emerging trends in Low Code and Digital Transformation. Additionally, our participation in prominent industry events significantly boosted our presence and visibility in the region. These efforts have elevated the Kissflow brand, positioning us for sustained and accelerated growth across various industry segments in the MEA region in the coming year,” Rajendran added.

In an interview, Rajendran outlined what to expect from Kissflow in 2025. The company is preparing for a year filled with new initiatives and advancements aimed at enhancing its impact. Key areas of focus include doubling down on product innovation, integrating advanced AI features into the Low-Code platform, and strengthening its role as a strategic partner for enterprises. Community building through impactful events like CIO roundtables and IT leadership summits will continue. Global expansion, particularly in untapped markets, is also a priority.

The adoption of low-code/no-code (LCNC) platforms is expected to surge in 2025. Gartner predicts that by 2025, 70% of new applications developed by organizations will use LCNC technologies. Non-technical employees are increasingly empowered to create applications using these platforms, with Gartner forecasting that 80% of users of low-code development tools will be outside traditional IT departments by 2026. With the rise of GenAI, citizen development is set to explode, democratizing application development and empowering non-technical users to build complex solutions.

In 2025, Kissflow plans to build on its success in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) by deepening engagement with enterprises, strengthening partnerships, and exploring new markets. Strategic focus areas include FMCG, Retail & Wholesale, Real Estate & Construction, and Government. The company also aims to expand its team in Saudi Arabia and increase sales growth through strategic investments in sales, marketing, and regional partnerships.
