Konami has officially unveiled the complete list of games included in the upcoming Yu-Gi-Oh Early Days Collection. One of the most thrilling aspects of this compilation is the inclusion of 14 Game Boy titles, some of which were previously exclusive to Japan. Konami has also announced the release date for fans eager to relive the early days of the franchise. The Yu-Gi-Oh Early Days Collection is set to launch on February 27, 2025, for the Nintendo Switch and PC. Preorders for the physical edition come with a special Quarter Century Secret Rare Yu-Gi-Oh card and are priced at $50, available at major retailers such as Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, GameStop, and Target.
For those anticipating the Early Days Collection, there are several ways to pass the time. New Yu-Gi-Oh anime Blu-ray releases are available, including a steelbook edition of the original Yu-Gi-Oh movie, which was released in September. Amazon currently has it discounted from $30 to $23.49. Additionally, Yu-Gi-Oh! Bonds Beyond Time will receive a steelbook edition on December 17, with Amazon offering a preorder price of just $21 for the $30 release. Retro-themed trading card sets celebrating the franchise's 25th anniversary are also available at Amazon and Best Buy.
For fans interested in diving deeper into the source material, massive manga compilations by the late series creator Kazuki Takahashi are accessible through Amazon and Walmart. These budget-friendly paperbacks each contain three volumes and are approximately 600 pages long. We've highlighted the first five books available at each retailer.
