L.RAPHAEL AND BETTER WORLD FUND AT THE 81ST INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL IN VENICE: FOR THE SAKE OF WOMEN’S EMPOWERMENT

With its motto “What legacy are we leaving for future generations ?”, The BETTER WORLD FUND once again puts Cinematic Art at the Service of Humanity - this time on the occasion of Venice International Film Festival.
Manuel Collas de la Roche, Chairman of the Fund, invited Ronit Raphael, Founder and CEO of L.RAPHAEL Genève to co-chair this groundbreaking event, which champions women empowerment through the arts against the backdrop of one of the key cinematic event worldwide.
Renowned for her achievements in redefining beauty and skincare with her visionary leadership and commitment to philanthropy, Mrs. Raphael announced the beginning of an impactful program awaiting distinguished invitees at the legendary Cipriani.
The evening began with the guests of honour, actors Kevin Costner and Susan Sarandon, who were praised and awarded for their contribution to the female cause. The Hollywood also legends offered a master-class titled “Women empowerment and sustainable development”.
Among the Illustrious invitees awarded that night were also Oscar-winning film producer and philanthropist Johanna Plafsky, publisher of exquisite limited edition books Cenytha Sarkis Perros and Omar Harfouch, businessman, pianist and peacemaker.
A beautiful performance by opera diva Anna Sanachina and musician Maria Elena Infantino was followed by an auction in support of the Fondazione Dona Dalle Rose raising funds for the restoration of a historic Palazzo in Venice, the digitalization of important artistic archives as well as support for the Cameroon pavilion in Venice 2024 and aid for children in Africa.
Among the lots generously provided by most luxurious hotels, art galleries, haute couture and fashion designers, leading law firms, and prestigious wineries from around the world – from France and Switzerland to Morocco and Hollywood, L.RAPHAEL offered an outstanding experience at its Temple of Beauty in Geneva, including its miraculous anti-age treatments and introduction to the core of L.RAPHAEL's success, which is the holistic philosophy of Seven Foundations of Beauty. She founded the Global Army Against Child Abuse, which represents her biggest fight and most profound accomplishment.
The Army Against Child Abuse is not just about raising awareness; it’s about giving a voice to the voiceless. Central to this mission is the Tom's Secret Initiative, a pioneering effort to raise awareness about child sexual abuse. Featuring a short animated film, created with input from experts at the Association of Rape Crisis Canters, the initiative provides crucial guidance for parents and encourages open dialogue with children.
