Shortly after its premiere at Monterey Car Week, Lamborghini launched the configurator for the Temerario, its latest entry-level supercar. Expect to find us immersed in this for the next few hours, and we suspect you might join us.
The customization options are extensive. There are countless color choices, trim options, wheel styles, brake calipers, and various lightweight components available for the exterior. Inside, the leather can be ordered in virtually any color, along with a range of optional carbon-fiber accents.
For my personal configuration, I opted for a traditional Lamborghini color scheme—an orange exterior paired with bronze wheels. Specifically, this color is Arancio Apodis, a newer addition to Lamborghini's color range, reminiscent of the oranges used on models like the Miura and early Countaches. Many Miuras featured bronze or gold wheels, which offer a striking contrast. This, to me, epitomizes classic Lamborghini styling.
The interior features a simple brown leather, inspired by a recent encounter with a similarly trimmed Countach. This unexpected pairing with the orange exterior maintains the vintage vibe I'm aiming for, and I chose to forego carbon-fiber options for the same reason.
However, this is just my current preference. Ask me again later, and I might lean towards a yellow or even a dark blue to challenge traditional Lamborghini expectations. Deputy Editor Brian Silvestro is currently configuring a purple version, which also appeals to me. How would you customize your Temerario? The possibilities are endless.
