Still haven't secured a vacation package due to high costs? As the Eid Al Adha holiday season nears, travelers seeking last-minute deals are facing limited options and rising prices. Nonetheless, there are still appealing choices for those who act promptly. Several travel agencies have set aside a few packages for late bookers, starting at Dh1,477 for Georgia. These packages are ideal for those who can find separate affordable flights or prefer to manage their own travel logistics. Vishnu Gopal, a travel consultant at WalksofDubai, mentioned, 'Our packages to Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan are fully booked, but we have a limited number of packages without air travel.' He also noted the high demand driven by residents eager to enjoy the extended holiday weekend starting on Saturday.
Additionally, many agencies are offering packages to Caucasian countries starting at Dh2,699, including airfare, amenities, and excursions. Ahmed from Best Travel Agency highlighted the popularity of travel to these regions from the UAE, with most packages nearly sold out. For Armenia, packages start at Dh3,150, and for Azerbaijan, at Dh2,830, with travel dates set from June 16 to June 19. Industry experts are urging residents to act quickly if they wish to secure a holiday deal, as availability is dwindling and prices are likely to increase. Libin Varghese, sales head at Rooh Tourism, mentioned limited seats for Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan starting at Dh2,299, including everything. He also noted limited availability for a four-day bus trip to Salalah during the Eid Al Adha holidays, due to the high demand during the Khareef season.
Travel experts recommend consulting multiple agencies and being flexible with travel dates and destinations to increase the chances of finding an available package. Deepak Kaushik, operations head at Tours on Board, advised checking various packages and comparing their prices and reviews on Google. He noted very limited packages available for travel on June 14 and 15. On the Holiday Factory website, most packages are sold out, but a few are available for the long weekend, with packages to Turkey starting at Dh1,999, Georgia at Dh3,199, and Maldives at Dh3,899, with departures on June 14.
