Legal action will be initiated against media violations observed recently, as per a post by Al Ain Football Club on X.
"We will not tolerate any disrespect to our club, its supporters, or anyone associated with it," stated Mohammed Saif Al Ketbi, a Board Member of Al Ain Football Club and Media Affairs Supervisor.
Al Ketbi emphasized that using the club's name to disseminate rumors via media or social platforms is unacceptable. Media professionals and content creators who publish misleading information or make baseless claims will face legal consequences, he warned.
Al Ketbi also urged media and communication channels to avoid inciting discord and conflict that contravene societal norms. He reiterated that Al Ain FC operates with a principle of transparency and remains accessible to all media outlets. Additionally, he acknowledged the significant contributions of various sports media.
Recently, UAE authorities announced that legal action would be taken against any entity spreading false information about sports activities in the country. This warning was issued by the Ministry of Sports after discovering that some entities had "established" certain sports federations without adhering to legal procedures or obtaining necessary approvals, according to a report by the state-run news agency WAM.
