Leo Palaca emerged victorious at the 15th Freedom Day Golf Invitational hosted by NMC Healthcare, commemorating the 16th FIGME Anniversary and the 126th Philippine Independence Day at Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club. This marked Leo's first anniversary as a member of the Filipino Golfers in the Middle East (FIGME), where he scored 36 on the front nine and 34 on the back nine, totaling 41 Stableford points with a 7/8 handicap allowance, leading among the 52 invited golfers. His performance featured birdies on holes 3, 6, 10, and 18. The upcoming September event will have Leo playing off a scratch handicap. The opening shot was ceremonially led by Vice-Consul Paola Ebora from the Philippine Embassy. Ramon Navea, Chairman of FIGME, expressed gratitude to NMC Healthcare for their support and looked forward to the new season starting in September.
