Their friendship remains unbreakable. On Tuesday night, "Titanic" stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet came together once again at the screening of Winslet's latest film, "Lee," held at Harmony Gold in Los Angeles. DiCaprio, now 50, took on the role of host for the event and introduced Winslet to the audience with a heartfelt speech.

"Kate, my dear friend. Your performance in this film has been truly transformative," DiCaprio expressed in a video shared on X (formerly Twitter). "I continue to be amazed. I continue to admire your strength, integrity, talent, and passion for every project you undertake. Without further ado, one of the greatest talents of my generation: the one and only Kate Winslet."

As the audience applauded, Winslet took the stage, giving DiCaprio a tender kiss on the lips and a warm hug. The duo also posed for a photo together in front of a poster for Winslet's new film. Winslet, known for her role in "Mare of Easttown," wore a black blazer paired with a matching top, while DiCaprio opted for a navy blue blazer and black shirt.

In the biopic directed by Ellen Kuras, Winslet portrays WWII journalist Lee Miller. The film, which took eight years to complete, had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September. The cast also features Marion Cotillard, Andrea Riseborough, Andy Samberg, Josh O'Connor, and Alexander Skarsgard.

Winslet and DiCaprio's friendship has endured since the release of "Titanic" 27 years ago. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight last year, Winslet reminisced about their initial connection on the set of James Cameron's iconic film. "He was this bundle of long, skinny, uncoordinated limbs," Winslet described her former co-star. "And he was just very free with himself, and he had this effervescent energy that was really magnetic."

"And I remember thinking, 'Oh, this is gonna be fun. We're definitely gonna get along.' And we just really did. We just really did," she added. Winslet also confirmed that their bond remains strong, with the duo never missing each other's calls.

"You know, in the world we live in now, to have friendships that bind you, and that shared history, it's really something," she said. In 2021, DiCaprio and Winslet had a memorable reunion after not seeing each other for three years due to the pandemic. Winslet shared with The Guardian that she "couldn't stop crying" when she finally met up with the "Great Gatsby" star in LA. "I've known him for half my life!" she exclaimed, adding, "He's my friend, my really close friend. We're bonded for life."
