Liam Payne, the troubled former member of One Direction, had a lethal combination of drugs in his system at the time of his fatal balcony fall in Argentina last week, according to a recent report. The 31-year-old singer died instantly from severe internal and external injuries as he plunged from the balcony, with experts noting that he seemed unconscious during his descent towards the hotel courtyard below.

In addition to the so-called 'pink cocaine'—a mix of methamphetamine, ketamine, and ecstasy—toxicology tests revealed the presence of benzodiazepine, crack, and cocaine in his bloodstream, as reported by ABC News on Monday. The outlet also mentioned that a makeshift aluminum pipe used for ingesting these substances was discovered nearby.

Witnesses recounted that Payne was behaving erratically in the hours leading up to his death, which included smashing his laptop and offering a mystery woman $20,000.
