Liam Payne was reportedly asked to leave a different hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina, just days before his tragic death. Sources claim that the 31-year-old star was forced to vacate Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires and seemed to be under the influence before checking into the CasaSur Hotel, where he ultimately met his end on October 16.

An insider revealed to People that Payne was asked to leave Palacio Duhau because he was causing a disturbance and appeared to be intoxicated. The Post has contacted Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires for comment.

Payne's life ended after he fell from the third-floor balcony at the CasaSur Hotel on Wednesday. The former One Direction member suffered a fractured skull and died instantly from severe injuries, according to Buenos Aires Emergency Services Chief, Alberto Crescenti. The autopsy also noted internal and external hemorrhages in various parts of his body, which contributed to his death.

Initially, officials suggested that Payne had jumped, but the autopsy report indicated that he fell. Pablo Policicchio, Communications Director for the Buenos Aires Security Ministry, told Page Six that investigators are still determining whether the incident was accidental or intentional.

Before his death, Payne was reportedly behaving erratically in the hotel lobby, with eyewitnesses stating that he smashed his laptop and had to be physically assisted to his room. A hotel guest also claimed to have heard a loud, violent scream from Payne's room, observing staff entering and exiting the singer's room around 4:30 p.m. local time.

Law enforcement arrived at the scene shortly after 5 p.m. following a frantic call from the hotel manager, who reported that Payne was under the influence of drugs and alcohol and was causing significant damage to his room. During the 911 call, the manager expressed concern that Payne might harm himself due to his access to the balcony.

In the days leading up to his death, Payne was reportedly under immense stress, having allegedly been dropped from his label and embroiled in a legal dispute with his ex-fiancée, Maya Henry. Two days before the fatal fall, Payne's girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, left Buenos Aires without him. The couple had been in Argentina for two weeks and attended a show by former One Direction member Niall Horan on October 2.

Cassidy broke her silence about Payne's death on Friday, expressing her profound grief and love for him. Payne's former One Direction bandmates also released a joint statement and paid individual tributes. His family issued a heartbreaking statement, remembering him as a kind, funny, and brave soul, and requested privacy during this difficult time.

Payne leaves behind a son, Bear, aged 7, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Cheryl Cole.
