The General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat has cancelled the licenses of 4 Haj operators and fined 19 others for breaking the law. All grievances from pilgrims concerning the previous Haj season were addressed by the Licensing Committee of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat. The Authority highlighted the importance of campaign organizers sticking to the agreements made with pilgrims. It was also emphasized that campaign organizers must maintain the standard of services as stipulated in the contract. The Authority reiterated that neglecting pilgrims is against the principles and direction of the state.
