Light rains and heavy drizzles affected certain regions of the UAE on Sunday, September 15. Videos shared by Storm Centre depict heavy drizzles and light rains along the country's eastern coastline.

Earlier in the day, the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) had predicted that the day would be partly cloudy, with a likelihood of rainfall in some eastern areas due to the development of convective clouds. The weather agency also highlighted that temperatures are anticipated to decrease. In the mountainous regions, temperatures could dip as low as 23°C, while in internal areas, the mercury could rise to a maximum of 45°C. In Dubai, temperatures are expected to fluctuate between 30°C and 40°C. In Abu Dhabi, temperatures may range from 29°C to 41°C.

Although some parts of the country experienced light rains, residents should prepare for humid conditions during the night, which are expected to persist until Monday morning in certain coastal areas. Check out the videos below, as shared by Storm Centre:

The meteorological department also mentioned that the sea conditions will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in the Oman Sea.
