Light rains are expected to affect the eastern coast on Tuesday, August 20, as reported by the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM). This precipitation is attributed to the formation of low clouds in the region. The weather authority had previously predicted intermittent rainfall for various parts of the country in the upcoming days. Although the eastern coast may experience rain on Tuesday, the majority of the UAE is likely to witness a partly cloudy day. The meteorological department noted that certain southern and eastern areas might see occasional cloudiness. On Monday, light showers were dispersed across the eastern regions, impacting some roads in Fujairah, according to Storm Centre. Temperatures are projected to soar up to 47ºC in inland areas, while they could dip as low as 26ºC in the mountainous regions. Moderate winds, occasionally strong, are forecasted to sweep across the country, stirring up dust and sand, particularly in the northern and eastern sectors. The sea conditions are anticipated to be mild to moderate, occasionally turning rough in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
