As temperatures soar, UAE residents can now enjoy outdoor weekend activities due to light rains in certain areas of the country, providing relief from the heat. In Fujairah, light rains have been falling since early morning, contrasting with the mountainous backdrop of the city. The National Centre of Meteorology has warned residents about light rains along the Eastern coast.

The NCM issued a yellow alert on Sunday due to rough seas and fresh winds reaching up to 40kmph from the northwest. Residents are advised to stay alert during outdoor activities. The met forecasted rough seas with waves up to six feet in the Arabian Gulf, starting from 1am and lasting until 1am on Monday.
The lowest temperature recorded this morning was 26.1°C at Al Heben Mountain in Ras Al Khaimah at 07.15am. Today, light to moderate winds, occasionally strong, are expected to blow across the country, causing dust and sand storms that might reduce visibility. Temperatures are predicted to peak at 41℃ in Abu Dhabi and 43℃ in Dubai. Humidity levels could drop to 15% in the mountains and rise to 80% in coastal areas and islands.
