Dubai is renowned for its distinctive offerings, and now it's introducing a special edition croissant. Chef Romain Castet, the head chef at Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk, has crafted a 'limited edition' croissant. This creation, made with pure butter and high-quality ingredients including dark chocolate, cacao, and raspberry jam, is layered within a flaky pastry. It celebrates the 60th anniversary of Sofitel The Obelisk and is a highlight of the hotel's Haute Croissanterie concept.

Haute Croissanterie features chefs from around the globe reimagining the croissant, infusing it with innovative twists. The scope for creativity ranges from flavors to designs. These recipes often mirror the cultural heritage of the chefs' home cities, and although the croissant is traditionally French, it has taken on numerous forms in cities where a substantial breakfast is cherished. Chef Castet's rendition is the latest innovation at Sofitel The Obelisk and can be enjoyed for Dh25 until July 10. Enjoy your meal!
