A peaceful protest by students against Bangladesh's government job quota system has recently turned violent. The political turmoil has been widely spread on social media, reaching a vast audience.
During the chaos, a video featuring a lookalike of renowned cricketer Virat Kohli has gone viral. The clip, mistakenly linked to Virat Kohli, was posted on X with a misleading caption. 🚨King Kohli joins the victory celebration at the streets of Chattogram, #Bangladesh pic.twitter.com/zxl5opkbEq In the video, the Virat Kohli doppelganger is seen shouting slogans while perched on the shoulders of other demonstrators. He is also wearing a cap adorned with the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) logo.
The video has garnered approximately 2,500 likes and over 140,000 views since its posting. Responses to the video have been varied; while many recognized it was not Virat Kohli, others believed it was him. Earlier this year, another Virat Kohli impersonator gained popularity in India. During a visit to Ayodhya, this individual was mobbed by people seeking photos and was also seen wearing the Indian cricket team's jersey.
