The 142.1-metre Lürssen superyacht, Project Ali Baba, is currently undergoing sea trials near Brunsbüttel, Germany. As reported by BOATPro, the vessel is anticipated to be delivered in December 2024.

Last December, the superyacht made headlines due to a technical malfunction at Lürssen's Bremen facilities. A failure in the dock gate caused the yacht's bow to collide with the dock curtain. Additionally, in May 2022, the new build project was observed in two sections as it was moved out of the construction shed. Despite these brief public appearances, details about Project Ali Baba remain closely guarded.

Available images reveal a grey profile with an elongated bow and distinctive exterior lines that span across four decks, including two helipads. The design bears stylistic resemblances to the 85.2-metre Lürssen yacht Pacific, which features an exterior by German Frers.

According to BOATPro, Project Ali Baba is one of the ten superyachts currently under construction at Lürssen. This sighting comes on the heels of the recent delivery of the 82-metre Haven this summer.
